first_img“Our 4 boat came together today by beating Cincinnati and Robert Morris, our fellow MAAC school,” said head coach Charlie DiSilvestro. “Our 1V had a good day yesterday but unfortunately Robert Morris got us today in what has turned into a great rivalry. Looking forward to continuing it next month at conference. Our 2V didn’t get a chance to race today after having a solid day yesterday so that is unfortunate, but overall it was a good weekend. We are looking forward to racing Creighton next Saturday in Omaha.” Drake’s varsity 4 + A boat led the team on the final day by beating Cincinnati and Robert Morris. In the team’s only other race on Sunday, the varsity 8 + boat was edged by fellow Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference member, Robert Morris in a tightly contest race. The second varsity 8 + race was cancelled due to poor racing conditions.
