CITY SECTION INVITATIONAL El Camino Real 67, Granada Hills 47: Keren Gordon scored 20 points and Dani Rosenthal scored 16 points to lead El Camino Real of Woodland Hills (7-17) to a victory over host Granada Hills (12-13) in the second round. North Hollywood 59, Monroe 51: Patty Villagran scored 18 points and Shaina Smith added 16 as host North Hollywood (13-13) defeated Monroe of North Hills in second-round play. Jamese Davis scored 17 points and Porcha Davis scored 14 for Monroe (15-10). Poly 59, Westchester 51: Ashley Burch scored 18 points and Sara Villanueva had 16 points, seven assists and had eight rebounds as Poly of Sun Valley defeated host Westchester. BOYS’ BASKETBALL SOUTHERN SECTION PLAYOFFS DIV. III-AA Oak Park 66, Morro Bay 57: Kareem Maddox had 27 points, 20 rebounds and three blocks to lead Oak Park to a first-round victory against Morro Bay (12-15). Nick Saliano scored 17 points and Andy Winningham added 10 for the Eagles (21-7). DIV. V-A St. Bonaventure 60, Skyward Christian 54: Kevin Heck had 24 points and 15 rebounds, Brian Beeson had 13 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocks and Jason Rivera had 15 points and five assists, but Skyward Christian of Tujunga (12-10) lost to host St. Bonaventure of Ventura in first-round play. Isaiah Burton scored a team-high 21 points for St. Bonaventure (16-5). DIV. I-AA Notre Dame 57, Capistrano Valley 54: Using a full-court press, Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks erased a 48-32 fourth-quarter deficit to defeated Capistrano Valley of Mission Viejo in first-round play.
