Falcons, Eagles finalize trade to send Johnathan Cyprien to Atlanta

first_imgThe Falcons and Eagles are both making moves early in the season.The two teams finalized a trade Monday that sent safety Johnathan Cyprien to Atlanta in exchange for linebacker Duke Riley and a sixth-round pick in the 2020 draft. Cyprien was released by Tennessee in March.Meanwhile, the Eagles get a third-year outside linebacker.Riley had spent two full seasons with the Falcons and saw significant playing time, starting in 16 of 28 games played. However, he had yet to log a start through Week 4 of this year. The Falcons will also get a seventh-round pick in next year’s draft.The Eagles confirmed the move moments after ESPN broke the news.
